An Afternoon with Kiddleydivey Brighton & Hove
We were delighted to welcome back Kiddleydivey Brighton and Hove – Adults for another lively afternoon of music, movement, and fun. Their sessions never fail to bring smiles and laughter throughout our home, and the energy they bring truly lifts the spirits of both residents and staff.
Tactile and sensory-based activities, such as those provided by Kiddleydivey, are more than just enjoyable. They play an important role in wellbeing by:
- Encouraging physical movement and gentle exercise.
- Boosting mood and reducing feelings of isolation.
- Stimulating memory and conversation through familiar songs and rhythms.
- Providing opportunities for creativity and self-expression.
Moments like these remind us how powerful music and touch can be in supporting emotional health and building a sense of community. We are so grateful for their continued visits and already look forward to welcoming them back again soon.
Celebrating 30 Years of Dedication
This month we also raised a glass to our incredible Home Manager, Lynn, who has reached the remarkable milestone of 30 years of service!
Lynn’s loyalty, dedication, and passion for care have been at the heart of Upper Mead for three decades. She has supported countless residents and families with kindness and professionalism, shaping the home into the warm, welcoming place it is today.
From residents to staff, everyone here is deeply grateful for Lynn’s unwavering commitment. Reaching 30 years is an achievement worth celebrating, and we are so proud to have her leading our team.
